Strategy Consultants - Energy - London
£50k to £65k base + benefits
Our client is one of the world’s leading advisers within the energy and utilities sector. Their strategy team based in London is currently 35 strong and provides a wide range of strategic advice to clients across the sector. To help meet the growing demand for their services they are looking to recruit an experienced strategic consultants at manager level. The role will be based in one of their London offices but will include international assignments that will include overseas travel.
You will have a first degree, masters or MBA with a focus on corporate strategy plus previous consulting experience in a strategy house, a Big 4 firm or an in-house strategy function.
Essential skills:
1. Qualified to degree level
2. Previous experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or business development/ analytical role in our focus industries of Energy, Utilities, Power, Mining or Energy Regulation sectors.
3. Analytical, numeric and insight driven mindset and experience
4. Experience of Providing and seeking meaningful feedback to help others and self improve and develop.
5. Experience of Taking advantage of new opportunities for learning, sharing new knowledge, being intellectually agile and thinking creatively.
6. Experience of demonstrating leadership, modifying behaviours to work effectively with others, respecting and valuing all people and encouraging different perspectives.
7. Experience of developing and applying a high level of skills, knowledge and standards and staying current with business and industry trends.
8. Experience of maintaining effectiveness during change and adjusting to new processes or requirements.
9. Willingness to travel - varies with project, team members do not tend to spend more than one week out of the office at any one time, typical trip duration is three to five days
