The Opportunity:
As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking to recruit PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS, ideally with a background in the high technology sector. We are looking for creative and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about project implementation and have the ability to help shape and drive key program initiatives.
Our strong technology and telecommunications client base provides the opportunity for the right candidates to develop their career within an international environment, working within a challenging and friendly culture, including opportunities to work across the European region, not just within the UK.
The roles will vary depending upon each specific client based engagement; however you will have the opportunity to work across a range of complex, high profile projects.
Some business travel may be required.
The Candidates:
To be successful in this role you will have a mix of the following skills and experience
Essential:
Educated to degree level
Proven experience in managing complex projects or programs
Practical usage & experience of structured project management methodologies
Multi-disciplined with good interpersonal and relationship building skills
First rate communication skills, both verbal and written
Professional with a mature attitude – ability to work in complex, unstructured environments
One or more of the following:
Experience of working within the telecoms sector
Experience of working within the high technology sector
Exposure to a multinational environment
Experience of working on large, IT enabled complex programs
Detailed knowledge of project management tools e.g. MS Project
Cross functional management experience
Ability to lead, manage and motivate teams
Desirable:
Project Management Accreditation e.g. Prince, APM, PMI
Consulting experience
Knowledge of French and / or German would be advantageous but not essential
