We are currently interested in talking to ambitious candidates with experience in Financial Services (Investment Banking, Retail Banking or Insurance) in either an established management consultancy firm (IBM, Accenture, Cap Gemini, 'Big 4', Strategy House ) or working for a global Bank or insurance company. We are looking for people with skills in one of the following areas:
Corporate performance management ( including scorecards, budgeting , planning & forecasting, Target Operating Model Design)
Finance Shared Service centres design and implementation within Financial Services;
Risk Management - Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Basell II, Solvency II or Capital Management
Finance & Performance Management, CFO Advisory of Finance Management/Transformation
Regulatory Advisory to FS - Governance, Risk and/or Compliance
FS Programme/Project Directors/Managers
Strategy (ideally deal-focused from a Pure Play Strategy Firm)
Process Improvement - Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Process Modelling, Process Mapping, Workflow Definition, Six Sigma, Lean, Business Process Transformation, Process Flow Definition & Design, Process Control Design
Operating Models - Target Operating Model, Business Operating Model, Organisational Design, Functional Blueprint Definition & Design,
Derivatives - OTC derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Exchange-Traded Derivatives, CDO's, CMO's, Options, Futures, Swaps,
Knowledge of the following key systems would be a distinct advantage - Rolfe & Nolan. Murex. Summit. Calypso. Smartstream. Gloss. Intellimatch, GMI;
Sound understanding of the end-to-end transaction process and its associated control framework, including: Transaction capture Transaction processing (operations), Product control, Financial control, Hand-offs between above areas ;
Post merger integration experience;
BI expert with data warehousing and data modelling skills;
Candidates must be Degree educated and ideally have a Professional qualification from recognised Institutes such as MBA,ICAEW, CIMA, ACA etc.
